$1.5 billion Tema Port expansion project starts 2016
Expansion works on the Tema Port will start next year. The first phase
of the $1.5 billion project is expected to be done in about three years.

NPRA injects cash into private pension funds
The National Pensions Regulatory Authority (NPRA) has transferred a
total of GHS 193,116,008.95 to Licensed Trustees administering mandatory
2nd Tier Occupational Pension Schemes.
The amount represents total funds transferred to Trustees in 2015. The Authority commenced the transfers in November this year after applicants (Licensed Trustees) had successfully gone through validation of data and due diligence on compliance processes put in place by the Authority.

Transport minister Dzifa Attivor has resigned over the scandalous $3.6 million bus rebranding saga.
According StarrFMonline.com sources, the minister submitted her resignation letter to the Presidency on Tuesday.

Milwaukee Bucks coach Jason Kidd is to undergo hip surgery and will be sidelined indefinitely, the team announced on Sunday.
Kidd, in his second year with the Bucks, will have the procedure on Monday and assistant coach Joe Prunty will take over the head coaching duties in his absence.
"I have every confidence in Joe to lead our team during my absence," Kidd told the team's website.
"I tried to put off surgery for as long as I could, but after consulting with my doctor, he advised that the best course of action was to have the procedure now."

Over 300 Ghanaians to be sentenced in Libya today?
Over 300 Ghanaians will be sentenced to death in Libya on Monday, December 21, 2015, if the Ghana Embassy does not intervene.
The detainees according to reports have been in prison in Libyan town called Pejora for the past three months awaiting the intervention of officials from the Ghana Embassy.
A Ghanaian domiciled in Libya, Yaw Tekyi in an interview with Adom News said the only chance of survival for the detainees is for officials of the Ghana Embassy in Libya to show up in court.
He said their crime was loitering around in town because they had nowhere to go when they reached Libya to seek greener pastures.
“The Libyan authorities are only waiting for Ghana Embassy officials to confirm they are Ghanaians to release them, but they don’t come to court,” he fumed.

In the midst of controversies surrounding a leakage of Bulldog’s wife’s
n*ked pictures, dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale has denied ever leaking
them.
According to Shatta, Bulldog had an affair with someone’s lady while they were in Germany and it would be appropriate if Bulldog apologised to the guy in question because the guy has the pictures.
Narrating his side of the story on Pluzz FM’s AM Pluzz on Thursday, Shatta said because he had to rush to US for another event, he told two Ghanaian friends who lived in Germany and escorted them throughout their tour to get his laptop and keep it till he returns.

After a highly impressive performance at the +233 Jazz Bar and Grill in
Accra last September, singer/songwriter, Wiyaala, returns there
tonight, December 12, to excite fans with another entertaining spectacle
of contemporary African live music at its best.
Her return to the venue is at the request of discerning fans who saw her at the last show where for over two hours, the young lady sang and danced and in the process, got everyone else around to sing along and dance along with her.

Her return to the venue is at the request of discerning fans who saw her at the last show where for over two hours, the young lady sang and danced and in the process, got everyone else around to sing along and dance along with her.
Also scheduled to appear at the +233 concert tonight alongside Wiyaala are the Dark Suburb rock band and rapper/singer AJ Nelson.
